When God directed me to this scripture in 2016, I was floored! In The Passion Translation, this verse so very closely described how I would describe my vision for Pearls In Bloom to family and friends.
Discover creative ways to encourage others and to motivate them toward acts of compassion, doing beautiful works as expressions of love. – Hebrews 10:24
As I studied this scripture more, I could see that it consisted of three parts:
1. ENCOURAGE OTHERS
Our shop is full of creative products made to bring encouragement to others.
God is the original creator and His answers to our questions are full of compassion and kindness for His children. He desires that we lack nothing. He desires that we are fruitful in all seasons. These are the thoughts that He has for us – and these same thoughts are captured in all of our products to bring encouragement to you and your loved ones.
Start your day off in devotion with a scripture mug or purchase home goods to serve as reminders throughout your home that God is for you and His promises never fail. His promises are yes and amen.
From every day needs to special occasions and even during difficult times, our God-inspired creations will bless and encourage you and your loved ones.
2. ACTS OF COMPASSION
We have been supporting women and children through mentoring, prayer perimeters, free guides, and lots of free books ship across the country to share God’s love to His precious children.
In many scriptures, the Bible says that Jesus was moved with compassion before He ministered to the people.
And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick. – Matthew 14:14
We learn about acts of compassion as we learn about Jesus’s life. He always made time for the one and he never left a child out. He provided healing and deliverance, he taught and blessed, and he continues to intercede for us even to this day.
Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them. – Hebrews 7:25
In 2014, Pearls In Bloom started a women’s prayer forum where you can make your prayer requests known. We currently utilize Facebook Groups to facilitate this gathering across the nation.
In addition, we also have a strategic women’s prayer group with members established throughout Ohio, Texas, and Kansas. We intercede on behalf of women and children to restore the family mountain. We are a house of prayer affiliated with GPEC that was established out of Waco, TX and under the leadership of Robert Henderson.
As Christians, we are called to be like Jesus.
- To become like Jesus, one must spend time with him.
- The more time we spend with him and learn his ways, the more we will fall in live with him.
- And through our love and surrender to Jesus, we become like him.
EXPRESSIONS OF LOVE
We offer lots of free tutorials in areas of embroidery, doll making, sewing, and crafts for kids. This site was launched in August 2021, so we’re still transferring a lot of material in this area. Check back often for more!
To love is to know the Father. To be moved with compassion is to live like Christ did.
There are many times when only a handcrafted item will do. The time spent creating something special for a loved one or even for your own home is an expression of love. We have begin curating a collection of tutorials and kits that and each are rooted in the Word of God.
Each product idea is founded on prayer and the intent to hear the voice of God more in our lives.
Owner, Creator, Author
In my shop, you will find faith-based gifts for your loved ones. I love making things for children and creating places to play and rest that inspire relationship with God. I make stuffed animals, dolls, paint murals, sew anything you can imagine for your home, and I also enjoy designing fashion accessories—particularly jewelry and purses.
I believe that we can teach our children how to be a bright light in a world of darkness from a very early age. In childhood education, it’s been proven that children learn best through play. I take this same approach when I’m teaching Chase or other kiddos how to hear God’s voice for themselves. I always start out by saying, “God what do you want to say?” whenever I begin to make something new—whether it’s a mural, a pillow with a special message, a look-alike doll, sew-alongs and books!
I’ve self-published two children’s books (the Obie Book Series), have one that’s pending illustrations and currently working on my fourth which has turned into a chapter book. I’m in love with these stories!!
I am privileged to introduce you to my friend Angela, wife to Clint and mother to Asher…and dog mom to Cinnamon. Together we have made a great team creating the Obie book series.
Even though miles apart, God setup a divine appointment for us to meet. We share the same dedication to our Lord Jesus Christ and have the same desires for mothers and children to hear the voice of their creator. To date, we have produced two children’s books and are currently working on another. It’s been fun!
